AUDIO-VISUAL & MULTIMEDIA MATERIALS
The Audio-Visual Center (AVC) maintains a comprehensive collection of non-print media and hardware designed to enrich classroom instruction, support interactive presentations, and meet the diverse learning needs of students and faculty.
Media & Electronic Resources
Optical & Digital Media: DVDs, VCDs, CDs, DVD-ROMs, and CD-ROMs featuring educational videos, documentary features, and interactive learning software.
Legacy & Visual Media: Educational videocassette tapes, transparencies, charts, study pictures, and geographic maps.
Cataloging & Access: All media materials are systematically cataloged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification System and organized by media type. Items can be searched and located using the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC).
Borrowing Policy: Non-print media materials may be borrowed for one (1) class period for classroom presentation purposes.
AVC Equipment & Technical Hardware
To support school events, classroom lectures, and student activities, the AVC provides equipment for reservation and temporary loan, including:
Display & Projection: High-definition projectors, portable projection white screens, and presentation accessories.
Audio Systems: Sound speakers, wired and wireless microphones, and multi-format media players.
Computing & Connectivity: Laptops for academic presentations, heavy-duty extension cords, power strips, and AV connectivity cables.
Media Production: Digital cameras and recording equipment for school events and multimedia projects.
