What is the IMC?

The Instructional Media Center (IMC) supports students’ learning, research, and information needs by providing access to books, technology, and other educational resources.

The IMC is located on the 2nd Floor of the Pedro Calungsod Building and has a seating capacity of 128 students.

Yes. An IMC ID is required for entry. Your IMC ID is also required when borrowing books, using the Internet Section, and completing your year-end clearance.

No IMC ID, no entry.

Report the loss or damage to the IMC immediately. A replacement ID costs ₱50, which is non-refundable.

To borrow a book:

  • Find the book you need.
  • Bring it to the Circulation Desk.
  • Present your IMC ID and have the book checked out by the librarian.
  • Take proper care of the material while it is in your possession.
  • Return the book on or before its due date.

Yes. You may use the IMC-OPAC and Library-to-Go to search for library materials, submit requests, and schedule your pickup.

Ask LIMCA is the IMC’s virtual assistant that helps in finding reliable information and research sources. You may reach Ask LIMCA through its official Facebook page.

An overdue fine of ₱5 per day for each overdue book will be charged.

No. Taking photographs or videos of research materials is strictly prohibited. Please observe copyright regulations and the IMC’s policies when using library resources.

Yes, but only with permission from your teacher. Students must bring their teacher’s permission slip and IMC ID and complete the required log sheet before using the facility.
