Grade 7: My Own Library Space Contest

     The purpose of the My Own Library Space Contest is to introduce the youth to printed materials and the importance of good literature that cannot be undermined.

Meaningful engagement in reading can be initiated and strengthened by providing them with opportunities to read books according to their age, context, and interests. 

This contest aims to encourage the community to read and collect different types of reading materials in their home.

Guidelines and Mechanics: 

1.  The contest is open to all bona fide HFA Grade 7 students.
2. There must be one representative for each class.
3. All prospective contestants (only one entry per section) shall complete the provided online registration form for proper monitoring/supervision on the conduct of the contest.

5. Each entry shall follow the following format:   
   • LastName_FirstName_MiddleInitial_Library_Corner
   • Example: DELACRUZ_JUAN_P_Library_Corner
6. Entries must be submitted here in the IMC website on or before December 6, 2022.

7. Prepare a Library Corner Display of any size.

8. Contestants must compile various book collection that are available at home to put in their own Library space Corner.

9. The My Own Library Space Contest must be creative, attractive and any available materials in their home that they can use to embellish the display.

10. Snap a photo of the Library Corner (“My Own Library Space”).

11. Submitted Photos must be in high resolution and in a landscape orientation.

12. Graphics and photo editing applications are not allowed.
13. Submission of entry will mean that you agreed that HFA IMC have the right to use, and reuse, publish and republish entries in whole and in part, individually or in conjunction with print matter, or in composite form and in any medium, for editorial, commercial, promotion of the IMC.
14. IMC personnel will have the right to disqualify any entries that they deem to be obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, lewd, derogatory, inappropriate, and not meeting the above requirements.
15. All winning entries will be posted in the social media accounts of HFA Instructional
    Media Center (e.g., fb, website, etc.)
16. Announcements of winners will be on December 9, 2022 (Friday).
17. The judges’ decisions are final and irrevocable.
