Grade 11: ADSLIMCA: Library Video Ad Contest

     The purpose of the “ADSLIMCA: Library Video Ad. Contest” is to showcase the IMC’s online platforms thru online video advertisement. Participants will create video ads that will show viewers the platforms and channels that HFA students can use for their studies and research.

 

Guidelines and Mechanics: 

  1.  The contest is open to all bona fide HFA Grade 11 students.
  2. There must be one group representative consisting of Three (3) members for each class.
  3. All prospective contestants (only one entry per section) shall complete the provided online registration form for proper monitoring/supervision on the conduct of the contest.

  5.  The Ads length must be a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 2 minutes.
  6. The products to be advertised are the online resources and platforms of the HFA HS. IMC, this includes:
  7.  The advertisement may be in English or Tagalog (including English subtitles).
  8. No copyrighted materials (music, images, video clips, etc.) may be used for this contest unless you own the copyright or have a license to use the material for this contest.
  9. Entry must be submitted here in the IMC websites on or before December 7, 2022, 5:00pm. No entries will be accepted after the deadline. Concerned Library personnel shall duly acknowledge receipt of all entries received/submitted.
  10. Submission of entry will mean that you agreed that HFA IMC have the right to use, and reuse, publish and republish entries in whole and in part, individually or in conjunction with print matter, or in composite form and in any medium, for editorial, commercial, promotion of the IMC.
  11. HFA will have the right to disqualify any entries that they deem to be obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, lewd, derogatory, inappropriate, and not meeting the above requirements.
  12. All winning entries will be posted in the social media accounts of HFA Instructional Media Center (e.g., fb, website, etc.)
  13. Announcement of winners will be on December 9, 2022 (Friday)
  14. The judges’ decisions are final and irrevocable.

Criteria for Judging

The criteria for judging will be as follows: 

Marketability/Commercial Appeal

The advertisements need to inspire viewers to use the HFA-IMC HS’s online tools and platforms.

Content and Context

The ads must contain all the digital platform used by the HFA-IMC HS.

Concept Originality

Ads must have a distinctive presentation.

Video and Audio Quality

Participants must be able to adhere to the specified video criteria and must have clear, uninterrupted audio and video.

AWARD 

There will be three (3) winners of this contest and they will receive the following: 

● 1st Prize – P500.00 and an E- Certificate of Recognition 

● 2nd Prize – P300.00 and an E- Certificate of Recognition 

● 3rd Prize – P200.00 and an E-Certificate of Recognition
