The Students' Perception on the Efficacy of the Teacher' Classroom Management
Abstract
Classroom management refers to the wide variety of skills and techniques that teachers use to keep students organized, orderly, focused, attentive, on task, and academically productive during a class. In Holy Family Academy, the strategies of teachers that they use to keep the orderliness of the classroom is not that effective, and some of the strategies they use don't work. It is one of the major problems of most schools. The current study aims to know the different perceptions of students on the efficacy of teacher's classroom management, the current strategies that teachers use to maintain classroom management and the most effective strategies that teachers use to maintain classroom management. The respondents are the Grade 11 Students Senior High school from Holy Family Academy. As the researchers gathered the information that we needed to know the most effective strategies to be used by teachers. The current study resulted that the most effective strategy that teachers must use is being strict to maintain a good classroom management.
