Title
The Psychological Effects of Favoritism on Siblings
Abstract
Favoritism is something that destroys relationships of people because of its treatment, the treatment of inequality. Psychology is the study of the mind of a person, on how a person thinks and how a person sees things from a certain perspective. Favoritism is greatly present among families or siblings. Parents love to play favorites, especially to their child that dies well in terms of academics or maybe because of their attitude or behavior. Because of favoritism, the disfavored child can develop low self-esteem which is bad because they would not appreciate themselves and they would think of themselves as worthless and useless human beings. Being the favorite child has its advantages. The advantage is, you are able to receive praise. The disadvantage is that your relationship with your siblings would be unstable and you are going to receive hatred and jealousy coming from them.
