Title
The Effects of Procastination to Students' Performance Result
Abstract
Procrastination is the act of avoiding a task that needs to be done and doing something else that is more enjoyable. It is commonly done by workers, employees, and students. This study was created to find any relation between the tendency of students to procrastinate on their performance results. The researchers proposed that the performance result of a student could be jeopardized because of his/her tendency to procrastinate. The researchers conducted qualitative research to observe whether or not procrastination affects the performance result of the students. Ten students were selected through the purposive sampling method and the data gathering was conducted through the use of questionnaires that asked about how procrastination affected them. The findings showed that the students who procrastinated on their assigned tasks had unsatisfactory results. Based on the response of the students, the study concludes that procrastinating, indeed, has a major effect on the performance result of students.
