Distinguishing the Harmful Ingredients and Chemicals present in Instant Coffee
Abstract
Coffee has been claimed as one of the most extensive consumed beverage and the most commonly consumed psychoactive drug in the world. It is already common in multiple areas of the society. Over the years, researchers have debated on how coffee affects the human body and yet the effects of it are still debated. Even with the numerous studies that showcased the affirmative outcomes of drinking coffee, further researches about negative effects of drinking coffee were also evident. Beneath the taste and aroma that instant coffee offers, there are many unacknowledged truths that some coffees consists of underlying ingredients or even chemicals that are not known to the knowledge of many. Thus, determining the dangerous ingredients and what effect would it result into that instant coffees possess would be of great help for safe-keeping the health of the citizens. This study aims to raise awareness on the impacts of instant coffee to people's health and study and describe the ingredients and chemicals present in a certain instant coffee and how the ingredients affect one's health. The process in determining the effects of the ingredients would be an in-depth content analysis of each ingredient present in the instant coffee through the use of different journals, published materials, and health articles pertaining to the ingredient.
