Abstract
Some people lack oral communication skills, this is a big problem that the Philippines is experiencing, with this, the Department of Education adopted a new curriculum in able to the new graduates to develop these skills. This qualitative grounded theory aims to know how to improve the system of Holy Family Academy in terms of helping students improve their oral communication skills. Its objective is to know the strengths and weaknesses of the institution in terms of this aspect can to know what the students need to fully develop these skills. Some students still have anxiety about speaking the English language, and most of the time, these students lack confidence in expressing themselves because of their lack of Oral Communication Skills. Using exploratory as the research design, the study aims to have answers that could be of great use for the next researchers. In able to gather data, one-on-one interviews were conducted. After the said interviews, it was found that Holy Family Academy provides the students with different activities that were beneficial for them. These allowed them to grow and develop different oral communication skills. These findings show a possible ground for next researchers to explore and study further.
