Each year, the month of October is dedicated and celebrated to the Most Holy Rosary due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is annually celebrated on October 7. It was instituted to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives to the Church as an answer to the faithful praying of the Rosary.
