ADSLIMCA: Library Video Ad. Contest
Objectives: The “AskLimca/IMC Library Video Ad Contest” aims to promote the IMC’s online platforms through a creative video advertisement. Participants from each class in Grade 12 will create engaging videos that showcase how HFA Students can utilize the IMC for research and learning.
GUIDELINES and MECHANICS:
- The contest is open to all bona fide HFA Grade 12 students.
- Only one entry per class. Each entry must be submitted by a class.
- The Ads length must be a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 2 minutes.
- The products to be advertised are the online resources and platforms of the HFA HS. IMC, this includes:
- ASKLIMCA Facebook Page – https://facebook.com/ASKlimca
- HS-IMC Website – https://hsimc.hfa.edu.ph/website (highlight the electronic resources and research)
- HS-IMC Online Public Access Catalog – https://hsimc.hfa.edu.ph (highlight the encoded title research to find in KOHA)
- The participants must specify the policy using the research.
- The advertisement may be in English or Tagalog (including English subtitles).
- No copyrighted materials (music, images, video clips, etc.) may be used for this contest unless you own the copyright or have a license to use the material for this contest.
- Entry must be submitted on a flash drive at IMC on or before November 26, 2024 (Tuesday) at 5:00 pm. No entries will be accepted after the deadline. Concerned Library personnel shall duly acknowledge receipt of all entries received/submitted.
- Submission of an entry will mean that you agree that HFA IMC has the right to use, reuse, publish, and republish entries in whole and in part, individually or in conjunction with the print matter, or composite form and any medium, for editorial, commercial, promotion of the IMC.
- HFA will have the right to disqualify any entries that they deem to be obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, lewd, derogatory, inappropriate, and not meeting the above requirements.
- All winning entries will be posted on the social media accounts of the HFA Instructional Media Center (e.g., FB, website, etc.)
- Announcement of winners will be on December 6, 2024 (Friday)
- The judges’ decisions are final and irrevocable.
CRITERIA for JUDGING
The criteria for judging will be as follows:
Marketability/Commercial Appeal |
The advertisements need to inspire viewers to use the HFA-IMC HS’s online tools and platforms. |
Content and Context |
The ads must contain all the digital platforms used by the HFA-IMC HS. |
Concept Originality |
Ads must have a distinctive presentation. |
Video and Audio Quality |
Participants must be able to adhere to the specified video criteria and must have clear, uninterrupted audio and video. |
