“Book Face: Heading and Body, Captured in Photo.”

Objective: This contest aims to see the creativity of Grade 9 students using books to show off their artistic skills.   

GUIDELINES and MECHANICS:

1. The contest is open to all bona fide HFA Grade 9 students.
2. There must be one representative for each class.
3. All prospective contestants (only one entry per section)
4. Photos taken can be of people, places, or projects, that tell a story related to the 8 academic subjects such as English, Science, Araling Panlipunan, etc.
5. Images must be original and taken personally by the participant with no modification or enhancement made in any way.
6. Submitted Photos must be in high resolution and have a portrait orientation.
7. Add a caption, of no more than 10 sentences to explain the photo.
8. Entries must not contain malicious and offensive content.
9. The artist retains the copyright of their work.
10. 10. Entry must be printed and submitted at the IMC on or before November 26, 2024 (Tuesday) at 5:00 pm. No entries will be accepted after the deadline. Concerned Library personnel shall duly acknowledge receipt of all entries received/submitted.
11. Submission of an entry will mean that you agree that HFA IMC has the right to use, reuse, publish, and republish entries in whole and in part, individually or in conjunction with print matter, or composite form and any medium, for editorial, commercial, and promotion of the IMC.
12. IMC personnel will have the right to disqualify any entries that they deem to be obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, lewd, derogatory, inappropriate, and not meeting the above requirements.
13. All winning entries will be posted on the social media accounts of the HFA Instructional Media Center (e.g., FB, website, etc.)
14. Announcements of winners will be on December 6, 2024 (Friday)
15. The judges’ decisions are final and irrevocable.
