Perfectionism is one of the primary sources of mental health problems. This is due to the fact that perfectionism is associated with stress, depression, suicidal ideation, and the feeling of self-inadequacy. However, it is already a part of the daily lives of some individuals and its disadvantages are oftentimes overlooked until is already too late. although it is also connected to having high academic performance, these benefits alone are outnumbered by several complications.
\nThis research focuses on the impact of perfectionism on grade 11 students. The researchers deliberately chose five senior high school students who posses some characteristics of being a perfectionist. The goal of the researchers conducting this study is to shed light on the aforementioned topic and to provide ways on how to lessen percfectionism.
