This study uses a solar-powered shredder with piezoelectric sensors to examine the potential fro power generation from organic waste materials, particularly corn cobs and coconut husks. The study intends to quantify the power produced by shredding various materials, evaluate the notable variation in their energy production, and examine the connection between power generation and the type of organic material. In the experimental trials, 300g of corn cobs and 300g of coconut husks were shred, and a Multimeter tester was used to record the voltage and current. The average power output of 55.86mW produced by coconut husks was found to be much higher than the 18.55mW produced by corn cobs. An independent t-test for statistical analysis verified that the two materials’ power outputs differed significantly (p = 0.001). Furthermore, Pearson’s correlation analysis demonstrated a strong positive relationship between the type of organic material and power generation. These findings suggest that coconut husks are a more efficient energy source for bio-waste-powered charging applications.
