This study seeks to measure and assess Grade 10 students&#8217; perceived media literacy competence at Holy Family Academy across three components: their knowledge and ability to use media devices, their ability to understand media content, and their ability to create media content. To assess these competencies, the researchers utilized the &#8220;Personal Competencies in Media Literacy Survey&#8221; by Simons et al. (2017) following a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were gathered through an online survey via Google Forms The findings indicate that while most students perceive themselves as competent in using media devices, there are varying levels of skill when it comes to understanding media content and contributing to media.
