The related literatures discussed the main aspects and materials required for the model to be constructed accordingly and to ensure the model is backed up with numerous studies. The alternative hypothesis states that the HyTrate Hybrid System (HHS) is able to generate at least 5V to power a light bulb, rechargeable flashlight or an android phone and the filtration system is capable of producing potable water, and the null hypothesis states that the HHS does not generate at least 5V and fails to dispense drinkable water. The study utilized an experimental-quantitative research design, and the data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics, which includes means, medians, and standard deviations. The study found out that the HHS was able to produce at least 5.0V of electricity, and was able to power a light bulb. It was also found that the filtration system was able to filter out living microorganisms present in the water. This study is significant as it substantially solves the issue of water and electricity scarcity in the Philippines.
