Through visually appealing booths and smart social media marketing, Aetalikha reaches out to consumers and communicates the value of locally produced and eco-friendly products that create a positive social impact.<\/p>\n
Title: AETAngkilik
\n*The Aeta Community in Sapangbato, Sitio Target are the beneficiaries of Holy Family Academy’s (HFA) community and built a time enduring and respectful partnership in their functions of both: AETAngkilik takes it a step further by strengthening both functions through a food business and social enterprise that recognizes the opportunity for betterment of both communities in providing a place to sell for the Aeta community within the campus. Interviews with members of the Aeta community in the ocular visit conducted by the Grade 12 ABM students of Holy Family Academy illustrated their struggles in their business of selling their crops, two of those struggles was finding a long term place in which they may sell and a specific community to set as their target market. AETAngkilik remedies their struggle by providing a physical place in which the Aeta may conduct their selling without fear of impermanence while also being assured that the community they sell to is specific to only one community that they may study the preferences of without any discrimination against them unlike what happens outside. Taking this a step further, AETAngkilik recognizes the value of what the Aeta community has to offer in knowledge of skill and culture and thus makes way for workshops in which the Familians may learn traditional Aeta skills such as bead bracelet making, agriculture, and basic carpentry — products of those workshops may either also be sold or used by the Aeta community to sell.<\/p>\n

By implementing a direct farm-to-consumer model, including a subscription-based system, we ensure that Aeta farmers receive fair compensation and a steady customer base. Additionally, we innovate by transforming surplus crops into high-quality, value-added products such as jams, jellies, and teas, extending shelf life and diversifying income streams. Beyond economic empowerment, our enterprise fosters environmental responsibility by reducing food waste and promoting sustainable farming practices. Through mentorship programs and leadership training, we equip Aeta farmers with the skills to manage and expand their business independently.
