This study focuses on redesigning a portable hydroelectric generator, emphasizing sustainability in design. This study employs quantitative research to assess portable hydropower&#8217;s effectiveness in generating electricity for remote areas lacking access to power. It utilizes a turbine to harness water currents and power LED lights. Materials will be sourced from hardware stores in Pampanga, and testing will evaluate the device&#8217;s durability and ability to produce sufficient voltage. The aim is to create a compact generator capable of withstanding strong water flows while maximizing energy output. Effectiveness and durability serve as primary selection criteria, with voltage measurements used to evaluate energy production for powering appliances. The research, conducted at Holy Family Academy in Pampanga, Philippines, assesses the generator&#8217;s performance and durability in real-world water currents. This study contributes to the advancement of sustainable energy solutions through innovative hydroelectric generator design and testing. This research uses quantitative methods to evaluate small, portable hydroelectric generators for supplying electricity during outages. It employs an inverter system to measure energy output for low- voltage devices like LED lights. An experimental design ensures precise testing to assess power, efficiency, and reliability. The study aims to create a practical solution for remote communities, focusing on thorough planning and testing. The study&#8217;s findings show the practicality of direct current (DC) in powering a variety of equipment, including water pumps, motors, and lightbulbs. When a 20V DC power source was used, constant voltage readings between 9.20 and 9.21V were obtained, proving the stability of DC flow, particularly for lightbulbs.
