One of the latest phenomenon in technology is social media. Social media are websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking. In Holy Family Academy, there are two generations that use social media everyday: the Millennials (teachers) and the Generation Z (students). The Millennials in Holy Family Academy has an age range of 20-28 years old while the Generation Z are aged 12-18 years old. The current study aims to compare, contrast, and analyze the difference of social media use between Generation Z and Millennials. To answer this, the researchers made a questionnaire based on the research questions that they want to know regarding the use of social media. The respondents of this study are students (Generation Z) and teachers (Millennials) within the vicinity of Holy Family Academy. After the data gathering and analysis, the researchers found out that the Millennials are more mature and independent when it comes to social media compared to Gen Z. Millennials also has little time in using social media because they are busy with their work. As for the Gen Z, they spend a maximum of almost 10 hours in using social media. They also tend to rely heavily on social media for opinions and updates.
