According to educator and economist Alexis Estanor, contemporary issues comprise any event, opinion, idea, or topic in any field, and is related to the present world. It attributes to economic, political, health, or environmental issues which alter the daily life of individuals, either directly or indirectly. Despite the essence of identifying contemporary issues, many do not recognize its importance, specifically among the youth. As asserted in an article written by Daniel Francavilla, Founder and Creative Director of Now Creative Group and Founder of ACCESS Innovation, the youth is ignorant of the happenings in their surroundings. They are unaware or knows at least a few details regarding the societal occurrences, which may forbid them from aiding in civic movements. Sta.
