It is undeniable that there are people who are more gifted in intellect and knowledge. Students who grace the honor roll are perceived as people who experience no hardships and are solely focused on studying which is not the case. Such students also have a dual life like the rest of the student’s populace: school life and life at home. In the Holy Family Academy, honor students are perceived to revolve their life in academics only but they too have a life out of school. From this, the researchers wanted to find out what kind of home environment honor students have that made them as such. The current study aims to discover the home environment factors that affect honor students’ academic performance. The study follows a qualitative research design and conducted an interview. The participants are the grade 11 honor students of Holy Family Academy.
