The use of a variety of study habits have been consistently on the rise in response to the changes made in the education system. Such is the case due to various studies and\/or propositions that point to study habits as one of the main factors responsible for a student’s academic performance. In line with this, other factors have also been found to be interconnected with the concept being studied. Among these, learning style, personality, and learning theories have a direct impact on one’s study habits.
\nin an effort to understand a student’s study habits, particularly grade 9 students from Holy Family Academy, the researchers employed the use of simple random probability sampling in selecting five respondents from the sample for this qualitative-descriptive research. As such, personal interviews were conducted followed by distributed questionnaires in gathering the data. Data gathered were analyzed and interpreted through the use of thematic analysis.
