From Page to Soul: <\/strong>Orchestrate the Book<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

Objectives: The Contest aims to showcase the HFA students\u2019 creativity and artistic talents by using book characters as artistic portrayals through their photography techniques.<\/p>\n

GUIDELINES and MECHANICS:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. The contest is open to all bona fide HFA Grade 10 students.<\/li>\n
  2. There must be one representative for each class.<\/li>\n
  3. Photos taken will be the participant itself as the book character.<\/li>\n
  4. Images must be original and taken personally by the participant with no modification or enhancement made in any way.<\/li>\n
  5. Submitted Photos must be in high resolution and have a portrait orientation.<\/li>\n
  6. Add a caption, of no more than 10 sentences to explain the photo.<\/li>\n
  7. Entries must not contain malicious and offensive content.<\/li>\n
  8. Allowed materials to make a costume must be worn clothes and recycled materials for their props only.<\/li>\n
  9. Renting costumes is strictly prohibited.<\/li>\n
  10. The artist retains the copyright of their work.<\/li>\n
  11. Entry must be printed and submitted at the IMC on or before November 27, 2024 (Wednesday)<\/strong> at 5:00 pm.<\/strong> No entries will be accepted after the deadline. Concerned Library personnel shall duly acknowledge receipt of all entries received\/submitted.<\/li>\n
  12. Submission of an entry will mean that you agree that HFA IMC has the right to use, reuse, publish, and republish entries in whole and in part, individually or in conjunction with print matter, or composite form and in any medium, for<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 editorial, commercial, and promotion of the IMC.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. IMC personnel will have the right to disqualify any entries that they deem to be obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, lewd, derogatory, inappropriate, and not meeting the above requirements.<\/li>\n
    2. All winning entries will be posted on the social media accounts of the HFA Instructional Media Center (e.g., FB, website, etc.)<\/li>\n
    3. Announcements of winners will be on December 6, 2024 (Friday).<\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. The judges\u2019 decisions are final and irrevocable.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      CRITERIA for JUDGING<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      The criteria for judging will be as follows:<\/p>\n

      How well the participant matches his appearance to the book character, and how well the execution makes use of other design aspects, such as the scenery, the props, and the clothing.<\/p>\n

      Originality<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

      		\n

      The entry must be unique.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

      Concept<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

      		\n

      Participants must be able to use their photographic techniques while adhering to the specified photo requirements.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

      \n

      Aesthetic Appeal<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

      		\n

      The image must have the “wow” factor and must be captivating.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

      \n
